Sobre Nosotras
La Voz de Poly es una publicación estudiantil creada por Karina Kim, Natalia Lakoff, Kate Asperger y Ashlyn Motley, bajo la dirección de la Dra. Bernath. Somos estudiantes apasionadas por el idioma español y motivadas por el deseo de aprender más sobre las culturas del mundo hispanohablante.
Nuestras clases de español en Poly nos han abierto la puerta a nuevas formas de ver el mundo, permitiéndonos apreciar la riqueza lingüística y cultural de las comunidades hispanas. Esta revista nació de nuestro interés por explorar y compartir ese conocimiento con nuestra comunidad escolar.
Nuestro objetivo es dar visibilidad a las voces, tradiciones, historias y actualidades del mundo hispanohablante, y al mismo tiempo crear un espacio inclusivo donde se valore la diversidad cultural. Queremos que La Voz de Poly sea una plataforma para celebrar la cultura hispana y para aprender —junto con nuestras compañeras, compañeros y compañeres— a expresarnos mejor en otro idioma.
Esperamos que al publicar contenido en español —ya sea ficción, no ficción, entrevistas o reflexiones— podamos contribuir a fortalecer el entendimiento intercultural y a promover el respeto por la diversidad que existe tanto dentro como fuera de nuestra escuela/comunidad de Poly.

La Voz de Poly is a student publication created by Karina Kim, Natalia Lakoff, Kate Asperger, and Ashlyn Motley, under the direction of Dr. Bernath. We are students passionate about the Spanish language and motivated to learn more about the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
Our Spanish classes at Poly have opened the door to new ways of seeing the world, allowing us to appreciate the linguistic and cultural richness of Hispanic communities. This magazine was born from our interest in exploring and sharing that knowledge with our school community.
Our goal is to give visibility to the voices, traditions, stories, and current events of the Spanish-speaking world, while also creating an inclusive space that values cultural diversity. We want La Voz de Poly to be a platform that celebrates Hispanic culture and helps us, along with our classmates, to express ourselves more confidently in another language.
We hope that by publishing content in Spanish—whether fiction, nonfiction, interviews, or reflections—we can help strengthen intercultural understanding and promote respect for the diversity that exists both within and beyond our Poly school/community.
